Package Inclusions

  • eLearning 20-30 mins (all your dive theory online)

  • 1 Pool Dive

  • 1 Shore Dive within the protected Fly Point - Halifax aquatic marine sanctuary or another local dive site

  • Air Fills & Swimming Pool Entry

  • All Equipment Hire; BCD, regulator, dive computer, cylinder, wetsuit, mask, snorkel, fins, boots & weight belt

  • Dive Experience eCard

 

Your course consists of three parts

  • After you book, you will receive login instructions for the online eLearning Discover Scuba Diving Course theory. These modules and quizzes need to be completed before you arrive and start your practical training.

  • Practical training in the swimming pool.

  • Followed by a dive at Nelson Bay’s beautiful white sandy bays or Fly Point aquatic marine sanctuary, one of the most visited dive sites in NSW.

 

Pre-requisites

  • None

  • Minimum of 12 years of age

  • Be fit to dive (see Medical Requirements)

 

Medical Requirements

Scuba diving requires a minimum level of health and fitness. Chronic health conditions, certain medications and/or recent surgery may require you to get written approval from a physician before diving.

  • Avoid disappointment, download and review the Diver Medical form to ensure you won’t need a physician’s approval to dive before enrolling in a scuba course.

  • Our staff are available to answer any questions you may have regarding the process of completing the form however we are not physicians and should not be asked for medical advice; only medical professionals can give medical clearance to dive.
