Course and Local Dive Bookings
1. Cancellation by the Customer
If you need to cancel your booking for a training course or guided shore dive, the following terms apply:
More than 30 days before the start date: 50% refund of the total booking amount.
15 to 30 days before the start date: 25% refund of the total booking amount.
Less than 15 days before the start date: No refund will be issued.
No-show on the day of the course start: No refund will be provided.
2. Rescheduling by the Customer
If you need to reschedule your booking for a training course the following terms apply:
No fee will apply if you notify us more than 14 days prior to the start date.
7 to 14 days before the start date: Rescheduling is possible with a $100 rebooking fee.
Less than 7 days before the start date: Rescheduling is possible with a $200 rebooking fee.
Once you begin a dive course, if you require the completion of the same on a different date (on a date other than the one stipulated at the start of the course) a $100 administrative fee may apply.
Please note that PADI requires that all training must be completed within 12 months of commencement of the course.
If you need to reschedule your booking for a guided shore dive the following terms apply:
No fee will apply if you notify us more than 14 days prior to the start date.
7 to 14 days before the start date: Rescheduling is possible with a $50 rebooking fee.
Less than 7 days before the start date: Rescheduling is possible with a $100 rebooking fee.
3. Cancellation by GO Dive & Travel
In the event that we must cancel a training course or guided shore dive due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., open water conditions are deemed unsafe due to bad weather, operational issues, instructor availability, or insufficient bookings), we will offer:
A full refund (guided shore dives only), or
The option to reschedule at no additional cost. We will provide suitable new course dates and will try our best to accommodate the clients’ needs.
Domestic Dive Travel Bookings
A $50.00 cancellation fee is applicable if you cancel more than 7 days prior to the commencement date of the local dive travel.
7 days or less before the scheduled dive travel date: No refund will be issued.
We reserve the right to reschedule the dive trip or modify the planned dive site if prevailing sea or weather conditions make diving unsafe, or if the provider(s) faces insolvency or cancels the trip. We strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance to protect against unforeseen changes or cancellations.
International Dive Travel Bookings
Bookings are confirmed by us after receiving payment, either for:
the full invoice amount for trips within 60 days of booking, or
a payment deposit of 30% from the total invoice amount for bookings of more than 60 days before trip commencement.
Full payment for all bookings must be received at least 60 days before trip commencement. We reserve the right to cancel a booking without notice if the payment terms are breached. All cancellations are subject to charges.
1. Cancellation & No Shows (International Dive Travel)
A cancellation made 60 days or more prior to trip commencement will be charged a cancellation fee of 30% of the total invoice value per person.
Cancellations made between 60 and 45 days before trip commencement will be charged 50% of the total invoice value per person.
Cancellations made less than 45 days prior to trip commencement will be charged 100% of the total invoice value, equivalent to a forfeit the full payment, no amount will be refunded.
2. In the event of a late arrival or early departure no refunds are eligible.
In the event of the booked guest or guests not arriving as scheduled and in the absence of late arrival information being sent to us: after 24 hours the booking will be deemed as cancelled. Late arrivals and early departures may incur additional transfer and accommodation costs.
3. No refunds will be issued for unused or partially used pre-booked dive packages and/or courses, for example due to illness, ear problems, lost luggage, plane delays or customer cancellation. Any refunds outside of our terms will be a claim on your INSURANCE company.
4. Divers must have valid DIVE INSURANCE. In the event of medical problems, recovery to comprehensive medical facilities will incur significant costs. GO Dive & Travel is not liable for any travel or medical related costs.
General
Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of cancellation approval.
Please note that we are not responsible for additional costs incurred by customers, such as accommodation, or third-party service fees.
